RedBull »Moscow«

ROLE 3D & animation YEAR 2011

Red Bull, everybody‘s darling in the energy drink sector, has been heading numerous massive breakdance battles over the past ten years featuring the world‘s most talented dancers. And this is how the story goes: Every dancer has his very own skills and power moves that he uses to defeat his enemies. Just like in a computer game. While the rules of the game never change, the venue of the battle changes every year. 2011 the lucky city to host Red Bull‘s breakdance madness was Moscow. So, for the promo spot of the event, we came up with a concept of having 16 bit street fighter aesthetics meet classical Russian constructivism. For this neat fusion I supported Sehsucht Berlin. And I‘m still wondering - who told them that I‘m a pretty decent breakdancer myself?
